COME DO THE NORTH CASCADE LOOP
Imagine setting out on a
sunny September day with stunning, spectacular scenery of mountains piercing

That's what's in store
if you join members of Puget Sound Early Birds, Rose City Thunderbirds,
Island Vintage Thunderbirds Club and Olympic Classic Thunderbird Club in
experiencing the first-ever, four-day, three-night tour around the Cascades
Mountain Loop, from Burlington to Winthrop, to Chelan, to Leavenworth, to
Snohomish: 360 glorious miles. But – if you're going to join us for this sensational scenic tour, and if you want to be sure of getting a room in Winthrop at the Rio Vista, you need to give them a reservation on or before July 13, because there are only eight rooms left in our block, and all the unsold rooms in the block will be released back to the hotel on July 14. The owner is insisting on a 60-day release of the room block instead of the usual 30-day release, which means we have to have reservations in sooner than usual.
However, the good news
is that the owner is giving us a 30-day penalty-free cancellation, which
means that if you have any interest at all in joining the tour, reserve your
room now. If you need to, you can always cancel without paying a penalty up
until August 12. If you want to join the tour but make your reservations
after July 13, you may or may not be able to get into the Rio Vista, since
it has only 27 rooms, and all of them except our block are gone. You could,
however, still go with us and stay at another of the places in Winthrop.
Call the Rio Vista at 509/996 Our hotel in the heart of Bavarian Leavenworth is the Obertal, 800/537-9382. At both, be sure to tell them you're with the PSEB T-Bird tour. Almost all the details have been put together, and what remains is to prepare the documents and send them out, which we'll do in mid- to late-August. |
